We closed on our house today in Missouri. Why oh why does buying a house have to be so complicated? It makes it even more complicated when you're buying it 1200 miles away. Everyone knows that no one reads all those papers, so why don't they just cut it down to like 3 pages. Will you pay the money back? Yes, if not I get foreclosed on. Do you take the home as is per inspection? Yes, I looked at it and know what I'm getting. What is all this other stuff you have to sign?! Totally confusing and a waste of time if you ask me. Anyway, I'm glad it's done and that it's one less thing we have to worry about. We hope that now the grass doesn't grow too much but doesn't die with lack of water either, and that termites don't invade and mold ensue while we are not there the next two months. We feel very blessed that we were able to buy and sell when we have in the past and know that we are blessed to be in this house as well. We're excited to go to Zouri, as Gavy says! We'll see if I'm still excited when we're actually on our way there. Hope so.

Wasting time on Blogs, Lovely!
So as I am new to this world of blogging, I have come to realize that blogs are a horrible, wonderful way to spend a morning, afternoon, midday, late night, anytime, catching up with what your friends are doing! How have I not realized this already? My little sister Katie has tried to inform me, as have many of you, that this is THE BEST way to keep an up to date journal/correspondence with friends and I think I have seen the light. It's so fun to skip from blog to blog and seeing what people are doing that I have not talked to or seen in years. I hope they are ok with me peeking into their lives after such an absence, but it's very fun. This could be a major time filler for me, which could be a bad thing! I'll have to set a timer on my blogging, so the "important" things like laundry and dishes don't get neglected. I think I've also come to realize that you should just write what happened today, even if it seems mundane and stupid to you, because even if no one else reads it, you'll have a great record of what you were thinking and feeling. Duh, a Journal! So thanks for the blogs! I think I'm addicted.

Yard/Moving Sale!
One and All, come to the first ever Ward Family Moving Sale! We have cleaned, decluttered, and pried from clutching hands all things that will not be making the move to Missouri with us in August. There's clothes, toys, books, home decor, a baby stroller and car seat set, and TONS!!! of craft stuff. Finished, unfinished, scrapbooking paper and supplies, Close to My Heart stamps, Cricut Cartridges, magnet boards, we've got it all folks! So come check it out this Saturday, May 31st at our house/my parents house from 8:30-1. We figure we'll do this now before the summer gets any crazier and to get the clutter out before my parents get home! Hope to see you there.

New Blogger
So I am venturing into the world of Blogging, due to many friends sending me their new blog links. So I thought I'd join the bandwagon and hopefully at the least be able to keep a more up to date journal of our family goings-on. We'll see how well I do. I am at the computer a lot checking email, so the least I can do is sit for ten minutes a week and write what's been going on, right? So here it goes. We hope it will be an easy way to stay connected to friends and family in UT and other places when we move to Missouri for school. So we hope you'll all check in often and we'll check in on your blogs as well, so we can all stay in touch! See ya soon!

New place to call Home
Chris and I travelled to Springfield, Missouri on the 8th of May to find a new home! We had a great experience and met lots of wonderful people. We looked at about 20 different homes and finally found "the one"! We made an offer, in the midst of a little bidding war, and it was accepted. So we're in the process of wrapping it up, and should close on the 30th of May. The house will sit empty for a couple months due to us not moving till August, but we're very excited about it and can't wait to get in it and paint the walls! It has 4 bed, 2 bath, a wonderful kitchen, and a hot tub to boot! And prices are great in Missouri still. So all of you can move there too! We will miss you all so much but are excited about making this place our new home for the next four years. It's in Nixa, which is a suburb of Springfield. Nixa has great schools and Maci is very excited about going to her all-day kindergarten class. Hopefully some of you someday will be able to visit us here. We'll be home often too. Thanks for your love and support guys!
